Description

These incredibly delicious Gluten-Free Red Velvet Brownies come together in about 30 minutes, making them a quick and easy dessert your family will love!


Ingredients

  • 1 cup gluten-free flour
  • 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon red food coloring (optional)
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips or walnuts (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Prepare a square 9×9 baking dish by greasing it lightly with oil or lining it with parchment paper.
  2. Whisk together gluten-free flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in a mixing bowl until combined.
  3. Combine in another bowl the sugar and vegetable oil, then add eggs one at a time, mixing in between. Stir in the vanilla extract.
  4. Mix the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients until just combined.
  5. Add in red food coloring if desired and stir until you reach your desired shade.
  6. Fold in chocolate chips or walnuts if using.
  7. Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish and spread it evenly.
  8. Bake for 25-30 minutes, checking with a toothpick for doneness.
  9. Cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely before serving.
