- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup cocoa powder

- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon red food coloring
- 1 package Oreo cookies, crumbled
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract (for filling)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cream together the butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth.
- Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract.
- Whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt in another bowl.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture.
- Stir in the red food coloring and crumbled Oreos.
- Drop tablespoon-sized balls of dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until edges are set.
- Mix together the cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth for the filling.
- Spread the cream cheese filling on one cookie and sandwich with another.
