Description

An incredibly quick and easy one-skillet meal that combines sweet maple syrup and tangy mustard for a delicious pork tenderloin dinner.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 to 1.5 lbs Pork Tenderloin
  • Salt and pepper (to taste)
  • 12 teaspoons Olive oil
  • ½ cup Pure maple syrup
  • 23 tablespoons Dijon or whole-grain mustard
  • 12 teaspoons Apple cider vinegar (optional)
  • 1 clove Garlic, minced (optional)
  • Fresh herbs (such as thyme or rosemary, optional)
  • Extra mustard or maple syrup (for basting)

Instructions

  1. Prep the Pork: Pat the pork tenderloin dry with paper towels. Season generously with salt and pepper.
  2. Get the Skillet Hot: Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and add olive oil.
  3. Sear the Pork: Add the pork to the hot skillet and sear on each side for about 3-4 minutes.
  4. Mix the Sauce: In a small bowl, whisk together the maple syrup, Dijon mustard, and apple cider vinegar (if using).
  5. Simmer Time: Pour the sauce over the seared pork, add garlic and herbs if using, and bring to a simmer. Cook until the pork reaches 145°F, about 12-15 minutes.
  6. Finish Up: Baste with sauce while cooking, then let the pork rest for 5-10 minutes before slicing.
  7. Serve It Up: Slice the pork into medallions and serve with sauce drizzled over the top.
