Description

This peach BBQ sauce comes together in about 30 minutes and brings a sweet and tangy flavor to grilled meats.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups fresh peaches, peeled and chopped
  • 1 cup ketchup
  • 1/2 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a medium saucepan, mix together the chopped peaches, ketchup, apple cider vinegar, brown sugar, honey, Worcestershire sauce, Dijon mustard, garlic powder, onion powder, and a couple pinches of salt and pepper.
  2. Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until the mixture begins to boil, about 5-7 minutes.
  3. Reduce the heat and let it simmer for about 20-30 minutes, stirring occasionally, until it thickens to your desired consistency.
  4. Allow the sauce to cool slightly before using it as a marinade or glaze for your grilled meats.
  5. Store any leftover sauce in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week.

Notes

This sauce can be frozen for up to three months. Allow it to cool completely before transferring to a freezer-safe container.
