Description
A quick and easy dinner that comes together in about 30 minutes, featuring tender flank steak and vibrant broccoli, all roasted on one pan.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1.5 tbsp corn starch
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup beef broth
- 2 tbsp honey
- 2–3 tsp sriracha
- 2 tsp sesame oil
- 5 garlic cloves, minced
- 1–1.5 lbs flank steak, cut into thin strips
- 2 medium heads of broccoli, cut into florets
- Olive oil, for drizzling
- Green onions, for garnish
- Sesame seeds, for garnish
Instructions
- Whisk together the corn starch, soy sauce, beef broth, honey, sriracha, sesame oil, and minced garlic in a small bowl until smooth.
- Marinate the flank steak by pouring about 1/3 of the marinade over it, tossing to coat, covering, and letting it sit for at least 20 minutes.
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Prepare the broccoli on a lined sheet pan, drizzling with olive oil and seasoning with salt and pepper.
- Add the marinated flank steak over the broccoli on the pan, spreading everything out evenly.
- Bake in the oven for about 15 to 20 minutes until the beef is cooked through and the broccoli is tender.
- Thicken the reserved marinade in a small pot over medium-high heat until slightly thickened.
- Combine the cooked beef and broccoli with the thickened sauce right on the pan.
- Garnish with sesame seeds and sliced green onions before serving.
- Serve over rice or quinoa, if desired.
