Description

A quick and easy dinner that comes together in about 30 minutes, featuring tender flank steak and vibrant broccoli, all roasted on one pan.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1.5 tbsp corn starch
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup beef broth
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 23 tsp sriracha
  • 2 tsp sesame oil
  • 5 garlic cloves, minced
  • 11.5 lbs flank steak, cut into thin strips
  • 2 medium heads of broccoli, cut into florets
  • Olive oil, for drizzling
  • Green onions, for garnish
  • Sesame seeds, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Whisk together the corn starch, soy sauce, beef broth, honey, sriracha, sesame oil, and minced garlic in a small bowl until smooth.
  2. Marinate the flank steak by pouring about 1/3 of the marinade over it, tossing to coat, covering, and letting it sit for at least 20 minutes.
  3. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  4. Prepare the broccoli on a lined sheet pan, drizzling with olive oil and seasoning with salt and pepper.
  5. Add the marinated flank steak over the broccoli on the pan, spreading everything out evenly.
  6. Bake in the oven for about 15 to 20 minutes until the beef is cooked through and the broccoli is tender.
  7. Thicken the reserved marinade in a small pot over medium-high heat until slightly thickened.
  8. Combine the cooked beef and broccoli with the thickened sauce right on the pan.
  9. Garnish with sesame seeds and sliced green onions before serving.
  10. Serve over rice or quinoa, if desired.

Notes

Great for busy weeknights or cleaning out the fridge with leftover vegetables.
