- ½ cup sourdough starter discard
- ¼ cup olive oil
- ⅓ cup warm water
- 1 ⅔ cups flour
- ½ tsp sea salt
Instructions
- Mix the sourdough starter discard, olive oil, and warm water in a large mixing bowl until smooth.
- Add the flour and sea salt to the bowl and stir until a dough starts to form.
- Transfer the dough onto a lightly floured surface and knead gently for about 3-5 minutes until smooth and elastic.
- Cover the dough with a damp cloth and let it rest for about 15-20 minutes.
- Divide the dough into 8 equal pieces and roll each piece into a ball, then roll each ball into a thin circle about 6-8 inches in diameter.
- Heat a non-stick skillet over medium-high heat and cook each tortilla for about 30 seconds on one side, then flip and cook for an additional 30-40 seconds until golden brown.
- Stack the cooked tortillas and cover with a kitchen towel to keep warm. Serve immediately with your favorite fillings.
