Description

Ingredients

  • 1 sheet of puff pastry, thawed
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup strawberries, sliced
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)
  • Optional: Additional powdered sugar for dusting

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Roll out the puff pastry on a lightly floured surface and cut it into squares about 4 inches in size.
  3. Mix the softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  4. Place a spoonful of the cream cheese mixture in the center of each pastry piece, topping it with sliced strawberries.
  5. Fold the edges of the pastry over the filling to create pockets and seal them.
  6. Brush the tops with a beaten egg.
  7. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until they’re puffy and golden brown.
  8. Let them cool slightly, then dust with powdered sugar before serving.
