Description
These quick and easy salmon patties come together in about 30 minutes and are perfect for a weeknight dinner that your family will love!
Ingredients

- 15 oz can pink salmon, drained
- 1/4 cup cornmeal
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 egg
- 3 Tbs mayonnaise or Greek yogurt
- 1/4 cup finely chopped onions
- 1/4 cup finely chopped red pepper
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 – 1 tsp Old Bay seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 3 Tbs oil (olive, canola, or vegetable) for frying
Instructions
- Mix the salmon, cornmeal, flour, egg, mayo, onions, red pepper, garlic powder, Old Bay seasoning, and salt and pepper in a large mixing bowl until well combined.
- Form the mixture into about 8-10 patties, roughly 1/2 inch thick.
- Heat the oil in a non-stick skillet over medium-high heat until shimmering.
- Add the patties gently into the skillet and fry for about 3-4 minutes on each side or until golden brown and crispy.
- Drain the patties on a paper towel to absorb excess oil.
- Serve with an optional remoulade sauce made of mayo, ketchup, garlic salt, Worcestershire sauce, and pepper for extra flavor.
